So
Is there a "legal" way to play on vanilla using WoD character models and animations?
Why don't we have one? Just like people have now in 6.2+. A switchable graphic option.

Obviously because the 1.12 client doesn't support anything like that. If someone were to leak/steal from blizzard the wow client source code that would be an awesome thing indeed.

Nope. You can model edit, but doing so will get you automatically banned by anticheat.

  • Other versions are not supported (1.12.0 / 1.12.2 clients are kicked!).
  • Your client should not be modified (addons are allowed, model editing is not and can lead to account ban)
