PvP Balance

Since CCs are in classic more than overpowered like everyone knows -> CCs are very very long + not able to break with any insignia + horde only got priests for despell. I would vote for a non-blizzlike improvement like it has been done in tbc. Insignias should break all CCs and a CC max duration in pvp should be like 10 secs with dr of 50%. as a shaman without priest in pvp it's pain in the ass to not be able to get our of fear/sheep/seduce. Basically the shaman insignia is useless.

You've got the feeling that horde suffer a disadvantage? Well my friend, if anyone got a disadvantage in pvp considering cc it's the alliance, as most horde are undead and got their Will of the Forsaken which gives them a massive advantage against casters!

WoF counter charm/fear/sleep..so it affects maily WLs but also priest+war. But tbh, claiming alliance has a bigger disadvantage regarding ccs is a lie. It's true that ud is the most played horde class but it's not like 80% in BGs are ud..and WARs doesn't count since they get out of fear anyway. Not to mention Pala can bubble and is immune to any CC + can despell any other CCs meanwhile + horde has often 0 depsellers in BGs. And now pls, these are facts. Though this post wasn't about horde only even though horde is more effected. This was about CCs in general. Also some CCs should share their DR, actually it's possible to get CC for an unlimited time.

Lets not forget tremor totem, poison cleansing totem, orc racial and warstormp which counter and contribute to the cc spam.

Welcome to vanilla. Adapt. There are ways to counter CC, especially if caster or DWing, besides op racials. I'll leave that in the air to investigate and find yourself.

why do u post in a topic about pvp when u got no idea about it? if u have ever played tbc u would know that CCs are still OP with a shorter duration. Though u need a priest or more in a BG to get out of constant sheeps. Try play shaman here and u will see u got no way to get rid of any CCs. You are not a mage with iceblock, u are not a wl with selfdespell, neither u got WoF or berserker rage and the insignia is useless. So Pala is actually >>> shaman and it would be an improvement in balance to get them a usefull insignia. Btw tremor tickrate is horrible and gets destroyed anyway, and grounding is bugged as FUCK! Fix some shit pls would maybe also help. Though CCs are way to strong coz too long in vanilla. Everyone knows this, why are u denying?

Tremor tickrate is probably 5s as it has always been. It still ticks instantly when you drop it making a 2 shaman group pretty much fear/seduce and even sleep consumable immune if they aren't horrible. If mages are getting free poly vs multiple shamans in vanilla I dunno what to say. If you're playing solo then tough titties, sucks for everyone.

My main is also a shaman and I'm lvl 52 now, when I get to lvl cap I'll start pvping ONLY if they fix the class first, poor Shammys are bugged as f#ck which is very frustrating, it's not like I can lvl another character in 5 days on a blizzlike server.
Totems don't work sometimes because they resist themselves and I'm not completely sure if any of the weapon enchantments works correctly: rockbite sometimes triggers flametongue's bursts, flametongue changes your attack animation and Windfury doesn't seem to add the AP properly.
As I said before, I'm not really into PVP yet, but I think they need to fix all classes first and then maybe start worrying about balance.

trimmer totem shock=silance and if its useless dont use it then cry about how you cant get out of Immobilizing, Slowing and Stun effects....
