In retail there where a few npcs on boats and zeplins. one was a vendor that sold food and drinks along with a few other things.

I would love to see these added in its a small thing but it would be great to see.

NPCs on zeppelins/boats it's a TBC addition.

So it was, for the full crew. I have memory of buying drinks for the vendor on the zeplin before TBC but thats memory for you.

You can easily check it for yourself, searching youtube videos.

If you can find proof that NPCs were on zeppelins/boats during vanilla, then devs will most likely add them.

Till then, seems like devs think the same way I do...aka no NPCs on zeppelins/boats.

Also I think it was not even in TBC but in WOTLK that these NPCs were added.

Actually it was in Beta, and later on live also, when boats and zeppelins bugged out, so blizz introduced it so people could teleport around without getting "stuck".

Yep, but it's a whole different thing the OP is talking about though.

So I checked on wowhead, the boat/zep NPCs were added in 2.3.
