Apparently it is hilarious for someone to bug up the horde flight masters buy moving them either by mind control or by vanish to distant places farm from the Flight point so that Horde players can't use the taxi.

Please GM's find this person and permanently BAN their account.

This is a clear violation of the rules, causing grief, and exploiting a bug in order to get some twisted kick.
This type of play has no place on such a great server. BAN them please.

Seriously man, the appropriate solution is to modify the game so this won't be possible anymore, not to punish the players for using their spells and playing the game the way it is.

People have been permabanned for less. You know the gryphons/wyverns the flight masters spawn when they're engaged? They're supposed to despawn when they and their flight master are out of combat, but they didn't at one point, so someone kept spawning them and dropping combat until hundreds of gryphons were milling about. The guy was permabanned.

Its the best reaction. One less scrub on this overpopulated server of scrubs and carebears.

I don't think the actions of the player is severe enough to justify a permanent ban. It's griefing and there's a chance he was using in-game bugs to achieve this, or it was just proper mechanics being abused. Either way, it was clearly intentional. Actions leading to the disruption of gameplay and/or completely breaking it. Resulting in the experience of others being ruined.

I 100% agree with perma-bans.

This server used to have the most mentally unstable players of any realm I've ever played on, and only a concerted effort from normal players and staff has helped to whittle it down to a respectable level. These people have problems and (probably consequently) have nothing better to do than grief on the internet, and it's better that they are removed than allowed to re-level a toon and grief another day, ruining the game for thousands.

If you get your kicks from hurting other people, that's seriously a personality disorder, as defined in the DSM and other relevant literature. And it's appropriate to rid a polite server community of those people that would seek to make it unplayable for others. A cute grief every once in a while is fine, but continuous and excessive griefing is certainly deserving of a perma-ban (in my not-so-humble opinion).

Blaming one player for the actions of the many isn't the road to take. This one event doesn't merit a permanent ban unless he has done this before. Given that this sounds like a one time event, he should get a warning and a suspension, although the OP haven't given any information regarding a name, date & times, repetition or duration.

Fair enough; I get what you're saying, but if someone has a consistent history of exploiting bugs and griefing without contributing anything positive to the server community I think a suspension or ban is warranted. I don't want to be the guinea pig for some kid working his way up to burning cats, ya know?
