Make auto attack timer addons functional

Any hunter who wants to maximize dps considers auto attack timers an essential addon. Sorren's hunter timers works on other vanilla wow servers, so why not on Nostralius? Seeing 4 month old threads about this that haven't been addressed at all is very discouraging. This is one of the main things holding me back from playing on this server. That, and the numerous pet bugs. Why would anyone choose to play on a server where an entire class is bug-ridden?

There's 854 open / 1158 total bug reports. The developers are actively fixing glitches, broken mechanics and bugs. But some which are more urgent than others, and fixing a thousand bugs isn't a small task and will take time.

The only really bad issue affecting hunters at the moment is the 2nd stable slot bug, which is random and thus very hard to reproduce. You don't always lose the pet you place in the second slot. Auto-shot timers not working is a minimal concern as it does not hinder playing the class at all. You can still do all the raids and PvP to your hearts content. Please tone down the hyperbole.

Auto attack timers are very crucial for pvp. A significant chunk of a hunter's damage is from auto attacks, and in situations where you're kiting an enemy, knowing when to stop moving to shoot an auto attack can greatly increase dps. It's always been a must-have addon for hunters who want to optimize their damage. Trying to wildly estimate when my next auto attack is coming out instead of having a timer to tell me is very stressful. So although there may be more pressing bugs to address, I'm hoping they'll at least acknowledge that it isn't merely a minimal concern, and put it on their backlog.

It's the same for PVE. Hunters CAN do reasonably good damage in MC if they use their non-existing?-autoattack-timers correctly.

In pve it doesn't matter as much since your character is stationary most of the time and your characters animations work as an autoattack timer. The PvP kiting thing is a valid point though, a working timer would improve hunters a lot there.

Killing lvl 50's isn't easy enough for you?
