I would suggest you make lock boxes pick-able from the "will not be traded slot"

The way that it works now is currently broken and the only way to make sure that you get 100% of your items is to level a rogue to 45 and pick all lock boxes yourself...which is silly.

Right now rogues can open your lock box and if it drops more than 1 item they can loot just 1 item and leave one in the box to keep for themselves. There is no way to know if the rogue has looted all the items.

This is already on the bugtracker. If you can't pick a lockbox and have trust issues with every rogue on the server, I suggest you pick up blacksmithing and start crafting:

Also, being in a Group with the rogue shows the loot from the boxes.

They can choose to close the window for the lockbox and keep the item(s) inside the lockbox without you knowing the rogue seen any items inside the lockbox. They can then open the lockbox again and not gain any points for re-opening a lockbox though.

You do realize it doesn't solve the problem, right?

Fix for the unlocking boxes from "Will not be traded" slot is needed.

I understand that this needs to be fixed, but this doesn't mean people have to hoard their lockboxes. There are measures to prevent this such as asking a guildie. I, for one, will vouch for Ryuko (sp?) on the Horde side if people need lockboxes opened though only because he opened 12 lockboxes for me nice, simple, and fast. Didn't have a doubt in my mind that the guy took any items based on his speed.
