Hello. As all of you know achievements are an important part of the game in the relevant version of WoW. What do you think about them? Is it possible to include that in vanilla or in TBC? I together with other players would be glad to spend time not only on PvP and PvE but on the achievements as well. Thank you for answering.

I like that there isn't such a thing as achievements in this game.
Ive always seen achievements as an excuse for lack of content.

Client-side. Devs won't edit the patch we're on.

The opposite if anything, as it incentivizes players to do content they normally would have missed or ignored. Regardless, achievements won't be added here if they intend to keep it Blizz-like; though there are websites that have mock achievements for Vanilla WoW. Those websites usually tally up your achievement points based on what gear you have as it shows what content you have beaten.

It would be possible to add server-side achievements, notify you via in game message and show the completed achievements on a website.

... or you can use achievements based on uploaded profiles: http://armory.digam.dk/index.php?sa=profile.achievement.list&p1=4573

Not all kind of achievments can be tracked, for example exploration and quests. But item-based achievements and PvP achievements works fine.

Some examples:

Already been proposed. Staff weighed in on this and said no, it wasn't blizz-like.
