Would be great if you had 3-4 people mod chat for gold sellers/scammers so that the server is cleaner. I'm willing to volunteer for this team if you did.

I remember in vanilla, they actually had chat mods for this kind of stuff.

would be nice if the server just fildetered specific lines out so they do not even arrive at the chat
e.g. sinba or goldfor to just name 2

Get SpamThrottle and you can avoid almost all the spam and ignore many more people than /ignore permits.

This has been suggested many times and it gets reiterated each time that filtering certain words won't fix the issue as gold sellers will just change up their messages to bypass the filter. One week it's sinba, the next week it's sin ba, the next week it's s inba, the next week it's sinb@, etc.

I haven't seen a gold seller in World for weeks. Solved my problem just fine!

Well I was playing yesterday and I did come across gold sellers in general a few times. Moderators would be terrific.
