Tier 0 being added to Epic Save

Just a few minutes ago my friends were running Stratholme and after 2 hours downed Baron Rivendare. Tier 0 Paladin legs dropped and Robes of the Exalted. After our paladin friend won them the server randomly disconnected everyone. After coming back into the server those items were then gone due to rollback. After talking to the GMs they said that they could not do anything because those items were Blues and were not on the automatic save list like epics. My friend did not receive either of the items he got and I believe this has happened to many other people. I think that AT LEAST Tier 0 should be added to the automatic save list just like epics as it is a tier set for raids.

every BIS item should make you autosave then
but its not going to happen
its using server CPU, which we are already short on
and with so many players, it would save kinda often
and adding these items to such a list would require a DEV to do this
but the devs have so many other important things to do

A work-around you can do is simply log off as soon as you win a rare item since that will manually save your character to the server database.

Doesn't trading someone a copper save it as well?

The problem with this is after every boss you do and win loot when you log out you will be kicked out of the party and ported out of the instance.
