This addon apparently gives a clear advantage over players not using it when looting, because it INSTANTLY loots everything. I dont' use any addons so when i try to loot corpses, i get a "timer" to open up the corpse,
and i can be standing over a corpse looting it when someone else comes and just takes everything before
my "shift+click" loots the corpses..

this is BS and this addon needs to be banned.

Ban is spelled with one "n".

Also are you sure it is an addon that is doing this and not just your crap latency?

You should never, ever ban any addon or API call that Blizzard put into the game.

The reason for this is that if any part of the APIs or capabilities of addons are banned, then it would mean that there is no addon that is safe to use - because players could be banned for using something that is suddenly decided to be against the rules in the future, even if it's just due to an API call buried deep inside an addon that they like. It turns playing the game into a game of Russian Roulette.

Your inability to loot before someone else does is most likely due to latency. I know because I live in Singapore, so my latency is always about 370ms - and that happens to me too, frequently in groups where a quest item drops off of mobs. The answer is to just ask the group to stay together until everyone has the items they need.

By the way, one of my 60s is a daggers subtlety rogue. You can learn to compensate for latency.
