It seems like there are an awful lot of skeleton piles on the ground from dead players; Especially in big pvp spots like Nesingwary Camp. It may not be blizzlike, but perhaps allowing the skeletons to expire in a shorter amount of time would really help with the server load.

I don't know that I can trust that comment about not lacking memory or bandwidth. Then what is causing the server-side lag during peak times?

And even if the massive number of skeletons isn't hindering the server, it certainly can cause a client to lose frames per second when there are so many of them.

The skeletons are there from 3.3k players online to 8k players online. It's obviously not the skeletons.

As I said in a post relevant to this one, but in a different section: if you're stuck in 2004-2006 hardware, it's time to upgrade.
