I think we need one more thing. A planner. Not a raid planner. But a server planner, with more information for update, maintenance and crash. Here, we are obliged to search in the board for find new's, it's a real problem. The announcement section isn't used in the right way.
All day, all update, all maintenance, all crash, all hack, it's the same thing. 0 communication...

I really love Nostaltrius and I discover World of Warcraft with you. On my life, I am community manager so I understand how difficult it is to manage a large community but I think this effort isn't too big for you.

One thing I keep suggesting but doesn't seem to be taken seriously - they need to make a sticky thread (or a few) at the very top of the list of topics, that ONLY STAFF CAN POST IN, and then update it with news.

Half the problem is they make a useful thread, and in 10 minutes it gets buried in retards saying "spot for sale" and "HYPE" and/or just arguing. Makes it hard to read and actually get the information.

Syrah is here for you. Unless you mean something different?

Syrah's post has lots of great information, but there are still improvements that can be made. Day-to-day changes like fixing dark iron residue and the new suffix items that drop were not really communicated to the players. Removing sandworm meat confused quite a few folks as well...

Only after searching the forums to find another confused player was I able to find answers to these, ex:

I thank you for all the work you guys do for the server, but if there was one centralized location that had all the minor fixes as they were implemented, i'm sure many players would appreciate this.

I'm happy to hear that with another social network, but the real goal of this thread is to make you think about that: why dont expand Nostalrius with better communication about news and crashs, with a real link Nostalrius/Realmplayers.com ladder/armory, with few server's events organised by Game Masters...

In my opinion, I think something is missing. It's just my opinion.
