Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

While I understand that the controversy about a TBC server being patched or added as a separate server it does stem concerns. One of the biggest problems I see with this is that Nostalrius has been advertised as a Vanilla server. All the people I know that have come to play here as well as myself came due to the knowledge of this being a vanilla server. What happens to the person that in four years decides he wants to experience vanilla and see's old vanilla Nostalrius videos and comes to find it's no longer vanilla.

Srsly TL,DR... relax buddy the tbc server will be added seperatly and the vanilla server will continue to exist after the tbc release so you are free to choose whichever version you like best:-)

This server hasn't been to my understanding advertised as a tbc Server and I would actually not be pleased to see it become one.

I'm not sure who got the correct advertising -- but I guess in the end it is Nostalrius' decision which customer base they want to cater to .. the ones who came here through the "it's only Vanilla" advertisements, or the ones who came through the "it's going to be through TBC" advertisements.

Either way ... one of those customer bases may end up leaving when they didn't get what was promised .. it's up to Nostalrius to decide which group is less important to have around. Why not just enjoy the game, and if you don't like it at some point move on. MMORPG's are a dime a dozen. have fun and enjoy the ride

The Nostalrius staff have never stated they would transition to Wrath of the Lich King, get your facts straight.

The same people coming to this server through misinformation and not doing their research are the same ones filling this forum with ridiculous complaints and will more than likely not be here in the long run. If you don't take the time to read the Announcement section, then no one will care when you leave because you "didn't get what you were promised".

They clearly said they will open a different, TBC server and you can copy your character there (or just keep playing here)
