Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I would like to draw attention to a certain issue that most people may not be familiar with.

The quest Root of All Evil that starts from Gorn One Eye does not reward players with the Defender of the Timbermaw trinket that allows the user to summon a timbermaw furbolg as a pet.

I have already reported this as a bug on the Nostalrius Bugtracker, but I would also like the feedback of the community on the issue. As far as I am aware this quest was never altered and there is no reason for the reward to not be obtainable in the current live content patch.

Moreover, players who have already completed the quest (and thus discovered this bug) would need to either have their quest reset by GMs in order to redo it, or be directly reimbursed with the trinket, once the bug has been fixed.

Bumping this for awareness. Still no response on the bugtracker report, not even assigned to anyone yet. This is an important quest and would hope it is fixed soon.

This item along with it's associated quests was added in 1.9 with the Timbermaw Rep update.

I'll confirm that it is an issue and we'll have the quest removed from all players so when the proper patch is applied and the quest reward is added, any player who completed the quest will able to redo the quest.
