AV is not meant to be balanced, not symmetric. These are two different things. Learn to use the advantages that your side has to win the game. This goes for both Alliance and Horde.

If you check the Developer's twitter, they have the statistics on Alterac Valley victories, hint: they are dead even, so quit your bitching.

The Mine Layer is also not meant to be the most powerful NPC in the Battleground either.

Seriously? I'm almost exalted and I think I've lost no more than three or four AVs.

My issue is AV is the nerfed version that was released the first weekend allowing some players to get exalted with almost no effort before they buffed it.

The problem is the respawn rate of npcs and these heavily favour alliance and I can say, I have not won more than two out of twenty AVs played, so fuck your arsepulled statistics.

So your personal experiences > data and numbers pulled from the server, yeah okay.
