AV Korrak the Bloodrager quest

I have that quest picked up for a long time in Alterac Mountains and after a month or so i picked up the ''Battle of Alterac'' quest(defeat drek'thar).The next AV i joined was winning and we won and i went to hand out the quest only to see that the moment i handed it the Korrak the Bloodrager quest with my BiS mage wand as reward had disappeared from my log :shock:

!I went to the quest giver of that quest but he doesnt give it back.I know i can just buy a 50+ wand ''of frozen wrath'' but its not as good.Any ideas?
