I don't know if they're planned, but I didn't see them in the timeline of release so I though I'd suggest it.

But with the eventual release of AQ and Naxx we should also have world events for them just like in vanilla.

Check the timeline, "Gates of Ahn'Qiraj" and "Scourge Invasion" are listed there for a reason
