Christ, increase the Respawnrate already, it's 4860 people.

It's becoming worse, instead of better- and it doesn't regulate itself...

You can literally watch multiple players standing at a potential spawn for each mob in a lot of areas.

Increasing the spawntime won't solve anything. It will just lead to people being stuck at the starter zone getting faster levels and the problems for these particular players will follow them all the way to 60.
And people at higher levels will just level up faster because of this.

The spawntime basically regulates the given number of mobs at any time for a given number of players (and you would need to include gameobjects, such as quest chest in that, because a chest respawning every 30 minutes for 100 players looking for it, well...).

Blizzard regulated that in the beginning by having people join multiple servers, so as to keep a level state. Here, it is obviously not level. But hell, do what you want :D

Nostalrius, the tag-first server :D What a crap ^^

You do notice that you can actually complete quests and get kills then, regardless of level? How is that not solving anything? You get to play the game and level up, without messing up too much.

Instead of looking at flat ground, picking your nose because some naive people think that that's the Classic experience and just repeat what they picked up somewhere.

Mate, it was almost the same thing with the release of BC on the small tiny french server when I played on retail, and I could only join in 24h after the release.
Give it a day or two, whatever...

I'm gonna guess it'll be a lot better from tomorrow onwards. Weekdays = work/study/chores = no nolife WoW 12 hours a day.

It's funny most people think this is fine because it's like blizz, but it's NOT.
In blizz the respawn rate of starting zones was pretty high in case of this scenarios.
