Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Make posible to restore lost items that can be obtained via quest only once(skull of impending doom, barov trinket, UBRS quest trinkets, ONYXIA neck, rune of the guard captain).

Today i acsidently deleted my rune of the guard captain(tought its fucking wsg mark) and gm refused to restore the item to me.

Now imagine someone destroying/selling/DE onyxia neck(if posible to sell and de). So no Onyxia for that person on this char ?


It makes ABSOLUTLY no sense to not restore items like that, atleast once per month per account. If u are afraid of people trolling GMs that is. Its anti-blizzlike to NOT restore items like those.

If its a normal blue/green item then yes, one can farm it. But how to farm a uber importent quest reward that is obtained only 1 time ?

PS: I know a player quiting cuz GM dont want to item restore Skull of impending doom.

So as it clearly states, the item was deleted by misstake. Im sure a lot of players, including me, deleted some items by misstake on the time played on the server. Suggestion is very good and sensible, but so far Nostalrius' policy on such matters of security has been.. lacking. I just hope that staff simply doesnt have enough people/resources to handle such matters at the moment, and that this will change in the future.

While I would like this, it would require far more manpower than the staff currently has.

You can't disenchant it, sell it, and this is what comes up when you try to destroy it.



Anyone who deletes the Drakefire Amulet is a fucking moron, but good news for you fucking morons as this is actually an item the staff will restore (only because the NPCs that can give you another one aren't working properly).

They'll get over it, just like Dizzy got over selling his Skull of Impending Doom even after making that drama thread complaining about it. And if they really quit over such a stupid reason, the server is better off without them.

Yea i agree destroying ony neck is preaty hard, but actualy if you read the item refund policy( https://forum.nostalrius.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=8 ) you will see in wich cases you get item restore. So restoring onyxia neck is actualy BREAKING the rules. This makes no sense.

I guess i must play without rune of the guard captain and not expect item refund, since i saw an acc security thread about password changing wich makes no sense x5 compaired to my tiny thread.

I believe if you delete the ony neck you can talk to the quest giver and get another one...

But i feel GMs are normal guys... devs have a problem for not leting them actualy do more meaningfull things in game... cuz full CHAR item restore takes ~ 10-15 mins..

They are just normal people volunteering to help out... nobody getting paid.. this is not blizzard and your not paying for this service
