Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

This is purely a cosmetic suggestion for the forums and would likely not take long to implement. Non-staff have the "Tester" title, which strikes me as an artifact of this server's pre-release era. Why not update it and have it dynamically change with the user's post count?

Since this is a Vanilla server, and the old school PVP rank system is one of the more known aspects of the game, I suggest using those as ranks. In addition to this, you can have it display the corresponding rank icon next to/below the title. It could be done as such:

Rank - Post Count - Title

0 - 0 - Recruit
1 - 10 - Private
2 - 25 - Grunt
3 - 50 - Sergeant
4 - 100 - Senior Sergeant
5 - 250 - Sergeant Major
6 - 500 - Stone Guard
7 - 1000 - Knight-Lieutenant
8 - 1500 - Legionnaire
9 - 2000 - Knight-Champion
10 - 3000 - Champion
11 - 4000 - Commander
12 - 5000 - Marshal
13 - 7500 - Warlord
14 - 10000 - Forum High Warlord

I would like to offer a better suggestion. Give Robotron the rank "Cow" and don't waste time on the rest of us. I'm sure he willa appreciate it.

Most users will have never made it past rank 6 stone guard. Only a handful of individuals will have made rank 7 knight lieutenant. And I'd be the only rank 8 legionnaire.

You underestimate how difficult it is to get 10,000 posts. If you try to spam your way there, you'll get banned long before reaching the mark. It takes years of heavy, sustained activity on a forum with reasonable moderation.

just more work for GMs/mods to keep the forum clean of spam which currently doesn't matter that much
