World Channel

Hi there,
Could you please do something about the World Channel (/join world). Whenever someone logs in it says "has joined the channel" or logs out "has left the channel"
It's starting to get annoying as there's over 3k-4k players online logging and out all the time.

There's an addon called "NoJoinLeaveSpam" that will help you to get rid of the announcement spam.

A simple solution to this could be patched in from developers.
This would make world-channel a more enjoyable place...and an addon won't be needed.
Most people won't bother downloading such addon. Instead they won't join the world channel instead.

And wouldn't such an addon filter those Enter/Leave messages out from ALL channels?

Yup.
I have a feeling that they're going to apply a "fix" for this soon or at least I hope so.

The world channel isnt even official. Download the anti-spam addon if u got a problem. I for one enjoy seeing when certain people come online and enter.

It may not be offical, but after a server crash it's pretty annoying.
