If you want something to be blizzlike, as I've heard...then make the mining nodes 'blizzlike' by making them impossible to mine if someone has the loot window of it open.

Secondary request, make alliance characters (or horde if someone is horde) go "Arena style" (ie: Attackable by anyone) if they mine something someone else is already hitting.

So damned tired of that.

Proof on the first one that it is indeed from vanilla to not be able to mine nodes when someone has the loot opened.

2nd one: not happening. PvP is faction vs faction. Not Player vs Gathering Professions Same-Faction and Opposite Faction Players.
