If the realm is ever looking for a way to drain the economy of gold to combat inflation, throw up a vendor that sells exotic vanity items that otherwise would remain unavailable to players.

Specifically, I'm thinking of things like Tabard of Flame, Tabard of Frost, Blizzcon Murloc pets, Collector's Edition Panda pets, etc.

I'd be glad to throw down 1,000g to buy a panda.

If they ever decide to sell vanity items that aren't acquirable in game, it'd be best to sell it for $$ to support the server / the devs.

Which actually isn't that far from blizzlike (Trading Card Game, in game shop in later expansions etc.)

Its simple - Pay 50% of your gold to me the last friday of every month and I will delete it....

Yeah, here's a better idea. Nostalrius should sell us chances to get those items for real cash. We can buy Nostalrius trading cards, and occasionally we'll get lucky and win a vanity item! Don't like that idea? Well too bad, it's blizzlike.

HAH! I'll outbid you! At my location you ONLY have to pay 49% to me and I will delete it... Honest!

How about players have to pay Protection Money to the GMs and they'll be unflagged for pvp in any zone for 1 hour. With no ability to 'reflag' until after that 1hr.


And if you're late they teleport you to BRD's Tavern and make all the dwarves hostile to you.

Who cares if Gold sinks?

If you need to get Consumables for your Raid then tell your raidleader to make it optional and everybody goes in without pots. Deal with it man, Consumables are not mainly made to make raiding easier. Learn to play without pots in raids. Learn strategy /tactic, but dont ask me!

Why do you need Gold anyway. You just need a little bit for enchants and mounts which can be bought anytime, it has no rush, if you have rush, then go burn your butt until you farmed enough gold, no one has to make your goals achive easier.
