Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hi! I have already pretty much finished ranking, but there is one major flaw on this realm when it comes to a rankers life.
If it's a internet/router reboot or some kind of downtime that shuts down your internet towards the realm, you get punted out of the bg instantly with a 15 minute deserter.

This needs to be looked upon, I think there should be a window of at least 1 minute to get back online.
It's disgustingly discouraging to rankers, especially now that chinese are account sharing and absolutely demolishing the ranking system.

The window in which you can reconnect exists and is currently set at 2 minutes.

What I meant though, I still keep getting 15 minute deserters when I disconnect.
The disconnect server side which you randomly get sometimes is like two minutes window to log on.

The one I was refering was the client side, my internet crashing and disconnecting, that chucks you out the yard instantly.

Can you elaborate a little more as from our side what you are describing is the exact same thing. Plus, rooter reboots can take more than 2 minutes.

Well, basically what happens is that I for unknown lose my own internet connection for as little as a fraction of a second or up to a second. It's not the disconnect from server side that happens occasionally which allows you to log back into the battleground. It's just my internet shutting down, internet comes up almost instantaniously and I quickly log on (talking 10-15 seconds) and I'm logging into a city and I know this happens to alot of people all the time.

This is alos quite annoying when trying premades, you almost have someone kicked out and deserted every night multiple times.

Thanks for the input, can you give us an approximate time and date of this happening and the character you were onto so we can look into it.

Whenever your IP changes, you get kicked from the game world when logging back in, no matter how fast you did it.

This usually happens when your router restarts (depending on where you live).
To prevent it ask your provider (ISP) for a static IP.

If you live in germany there's a forced disconnect with IP change every day at the same time. You can however change the time to 5am so it shouldn't bother you, most likely also happens in other countries.

That's probably the case, thing is that it can happen any time of the day, but I'll have a talk with my isp regarding that.
