AV Horde wall climbing

Hi,

I guess I´ll get plenty of hate for this but should really the wall climbing be allowed due to the advantage it gives their faction in the BG? Pretty much backdooring and avoiding all NPCs guarding our keep etc.

This is a open question for discussion since it´s getting kinda tiresome having hordes capping Aid Station after 10 min zerging in with 7-10 players. Since we as alliance have a easier time avoiding horde choke points maybe these to takes each other out?

In my last AV we were about 6 Alliances defending and we barely made it defending against 9-10 hordes.

Ah well. Discuss.

it was possible back in the days.
but it got patched at some point.
so now the better question is, When did it get patched?

The wall-climbing trick that you linked is the difficult version of what happens on nostalrius. In the screenshot by the OP, these Horde players are able to climb that hill without precision and it is farther away from the Dun Baldar base so it is not easily guarded like the wall-climb trick in your linked video (which requires a 100% mount). On this server you can easily wallclimb over that hill and walk your way into Dun Baldar.

I will post some better screenshots from AV today from different angles. Maybe record myself doing the trick (if I´ll make it, maybe easier said than done ^^)

the client is patch 1.12.1, the map design is exactly the way it was at 1.12.1 thus this is working as intended

(and this is the 20th thread about it)
