Hello.
I have a better idea for a "nerf" for the hunter solo DM Trib runs that would make hunters make around the same gold they make in mara, drop the mana pot prices a bit AND revert the boss to its regular difficulty again.
Just make every 2h weapon that he drops unique, that way you cant have more than 1 of it in your bag and you wont be able to stack up with 8 barbarous blades and 7 rods of the ogre magi in 2 hrs.
Mana pot prices will come back to normal and not 20g / 5.
Groups with green gear will finally be able to kill King Gordok without having to do 4 hours worth of progression runs (srsly ragnaros is easier).
Hunters will still make the same gold they are already making in Maradaun.
Everyone profits.
What do you think?

A perhaps more appropriate nerf would've been requiring players to use the gordok suit on kromcrush in order to get that extra tribute loot. Currently, only slip'kik is functioning that way as you need to use the ice trap to get his blue.
With both slip'kik and Kromcrush scripts required for full tribute (no hunter would use the mats for that) that'd be 2 less blues per run, greatly reducing the influx of gold but still producing desperately needed mana pots.
Additionally, a kromcrush fix would prevent normal groups from bugging their way past as almost all of them currently do

all good suggestions.

I would rather them just implement a Blizz-like fix.

how about making ALL of king gordok's loot and the tribute chests' loot be unique, except the white items
also it might be nice if the chest just didnt drop any potions, even though none of those changes are blizzlike

You know there's a beer vendor friendly with tribute buff to sell everything to after each run?
