Can we change the automated Permaban message of "you are banned until (X date/time)" to "your permanent ban began on (X date/time)"? Or is this a non-configurable, automated, catch-all message for every type of ban?

Ha...nah. I was just reading someones suggestion in the support forums about this issue. And really...how often does this wording lead to unnessary confusion?

It'd be a really good change especially since the PVE server is about to come out and ZG is around the corner.

Pretty sure all of that requires modding the client. The same reason why you'll get Blizzard News updates still
Which is really pretty funny, if Blizzard wanted an easy way to stop Private Servers all they'd have to do is push Realmlist updates through the News Feed server connection and forcibly update clients every time you hit the login screen (you know the ol' "Requires update press 'Update' to continue" message you'd get if your client wasn't up to date).
Only way to stop it would be to modify the client, which would then constitute a legal infraction

Or you just modify your hosts file.

Not sure what you guys are even talking about. I'm referring to the Nost website message people receive when they verify the nature of their ban.

Ya I follow you. I was just replying to what he was talking about above.
I agree about it being confusing wording and an easy fix. I was recently banned myself (unjustly) and when I first read the message on the website I thought it was a temporary ban.
