Donation for new server hardware (max playercap increase)

There should be a donation tab on the main page, that would be great if the server hardware would be upgraded to increase the maximum amount of players in the servers at a time.

the intention is to not increase it, is it even reached during peak times?

I think he probably means increase server hardware so that when the PvP server population is at 6k+ the server-side lag doesn't occur. This sometimes happens during EU evenings.
But note that if you did increase the server hardware, it may not result in as much improvement as you would have hoped because server-side load goes up exponentially with number of players, not linearly.
