Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Any thoughts on this from the Dev's or community if it is ok to stream during the PvP beta test or even at launch of Nos. will this be supported for advertising reasons or look at differently?
I know many people who would love to stream the gameplay of Nos once it is released, even in the PvP beta test this month.

Why wouldn't it be ok? You'll be attracting more players to the server, which it no doubt needs and will always need. In fact, you should put "Nostalrius" right in the name proudly so it's not confused with anything else. People are already planning to stream or make videos of the server from the upcoming beta test to attract more players. I don't see why there would be anything wrong with you doing the same. This server needs advertisement. You don't have to be deceptive, or try to make the server look any better than it really is, just play it and show whatever there is to be shown. People will listen to who they want and make up their own minds about whether they want to join or not.

I'll be damned sure to stream it imba, I know norm will as well, drew will probably do it too.

I'm pretty sure drewbit will stream if we join you guys on this server Rhoen. Are you guys rolling alliance again?

it was more of a question towards the Devs as it could lead to potential DDOS attacks. I do recall a few months back on certain servers being targeted by script kiddies with a bot net through twitch streams, even those on WoW retail and other platforms. every private server is different and I do know that Nos mentioned they had DDOS protection in place.
I think rhoen can comment on it as well since he was targeted while streaming on Rebirth and could not even complete a 45min Baron run because of it that week.
I would assume that it wont be a problem though.

DDOS is going to happen whether you stream or not. They just have to be ready for it. I'm sure people have a DDOS ready for when it opens. They said their ISP has a multi layer defense against this, which will hopefully be effective at negating its impact.

Yes bob we are rolling alliance again and im rolling a paladin again and actually we did manage to do that 45 min baron- the server went down 2 minutes after however =)

I'll most likely be streaming the PvP test as well.
