Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Due to the large amount of trolls on this server, I would ask for Nostalrius to make harassment bannable. For instance, I was just informed by a GM that mages are allowed to run around spamming sheep on your target as to make them regenerate health, or priests are allowed to mind control your target when they are near death and run it so far away that they drop aggro and reset. People are allowed to pull mobs close to you in hopes that you take aggro and die when/if you use and AoE spell. This also, allows them to follow you around for hours doing this. Not only does this have an extremely negative impact on players due to the Russian-speaking vs English-speaking grudges, but also because this server does not have any kind of requirement on people's age or maturity (understandably).

Due to this level of harassment not having any negative effects, it's running rampant throughout the server and causing the "fun" and "nostalgic" factors to dwindle. If you cannot play the game as intended, then it is not fun and these have been bannable offenses by Blizzard, thus not nostalgic to the retail vanilla days. If something is not done about this soon, I fear Nostalrius will die out when another server comes along that will offer the same level of bugs (close-to-none) without a worry of people harassing you to the point of making the game nearly unplayable.

I completely agree. This kind of trolling is juvenile, ruins gameplay, and makes people quit.

Suggestion forum is where this belongs not Support.

Support is more for in game issues that require assistance. Suggestion is a policy change like adding harassment to list of infractions

I mean, if he was wrong on where to put it (simple human mistake) then I can copy it over. But I'd rather a dev tell me to just incase because while this does need attention, there's no reason to have 2 threads. However, if they feel it's in the wrong section, I'd assume they'd just move it themselves. I'm not certain how they handle posts in the wrong sections.

The forum moderator will come along and move it if it looks more like a suggestion. They did that with one of my posts. Don't make multiple threads though, that just adds confusion / workload.

I remember playing retail during TBC pulling mobs to other players and was advised by a GM (talking in game....crazy huh) this was harassment. Alas, different server, as well as, TOU. Sadly I am an adult now who doesn't care about harassing people in WoW.

I'd just like to hear where to you get all these trolls... ?
So far my experience here:

1 - I ask question in game and I actually get answer, legit answer. Not some "yo mamma" "anal" or "thunderfury" type of answer.

2 - forum seems to be great, I browse it every day and I seem to have no problems at all

3 - the only place where you can get trolled is barrens chat. And trust me on this, they do it just cuz it's barrens chat. It's like "oh we are in barrens, lets act stupid cuz this chat was labeled as stupid so it's actually normal here". I saw few guys posting jokes on barrens... well "jokes". Later I met them in stonetalon, they were decent fellas. We did few quests without anyone of them being any offensive, rude or trollish.

I really fail to see all these trolls, all these "problems".
I could be blind or I just could be PLAYING THE GAME. Stop focusing on less important stuff. Trolls are there if you allow them to be. You do that by doing just what you did. You gave them attention.
When that "troll" sees none gives a fk about his idiotic behavior he will eventually stop.
There is a saying "don't feed a troll" and it's there for a reason
