Issue with Herbalism and Mining Node Spawns

I've been wandering Elwynn Forest for about 8 hours waiting on friends to catch up in levels to me and I have seen absolutely ZERO herbalism nodes. In addition, my friend was searching for mining nodes and also COULDN'T find a SINGLE copper vein. This is on the PvP server and seems to have started since recent server restart
Generally I would chalk this up to massive overpopulation but when I started playing this Monday there were plenty of nodes available and there wasn't any problem until recently. I haven't seen a developer show any concern as of yet and the only bug that was reported to the bug tracker was deemed INVALID. The only comment stated that it wasn't "specific" and should be brought up in the suggestions forums. So here it is, please fix the herbalism and mining node spawns because either A.) They are ridiculously low frequency given the population (unlikely) or B.) There is a profession and economics breaking bug plaguing the server preventing resource nodes from spawning. (more likely)
