How does this make sense? I created a new gmail email way back to go along with this account, I have now forgotten the email address, and wish to access the email (so I know account will be 100% safe in future, what do i even do to change a password?). I am certain I will know the password to the gmail email, I just don't know the email address associated with this account!!

Am I understanding this right that the current only option to change the password is via "Forgot password"? I failed to find proper account settings in the website for the in-game account self, but I am also just on my mobile and the design seems to be a bit cropped and unresponsive at times there.

However, if these features are missing, they should be added quickly. The possibility to change your e-mail and password via account settings is always a minimum in my opinion, as emails are used to identify you as account holder in case something goes boom and you have to get in contact with the support out of the game service (but it seems like a lot is handled via the forums here).

For your specific case, it seems like more of an account related issue that you maybe can engage better by posting in the Support board instead.

On the other hand, adding the features to the web page is a suggestion I support, for sure. Unless I am just blind and were really able incapable to find them on my own.

Knowing your email password doesn't help you here, go to the google support pages to find out your email.
