Would be really useful to test DPS builds, gear sets, etc...

Wouldn't break the game by any means whatsoever, and isn't that non-blizzlike since blizz thought it was a good idea anyway and could have implemented this feature at any time and it wouldn't have made a difference.

Dps builds, gear sets etc has been tested for 10 years. Should be enough.

It's about testing YOUR gear, when sometimes you don't know if that crit is more worth than that hit or that sp worth more than that crit etc

Idk what harm it can do and I've been in that situation a lot with my fury warrior because of the scarce gear.

This is something that people rarely bring up. I don't see a reason why don't the private servers implement this. I wouldn't mind seeing this on Nostalrius.
