Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

As a horde player in a PvP guild this queue system is absolutely ruining our vanilla wow experience. My guild, full of enthusiastic players who came to this server thirsting the epic vanilla wow pvp experience, are now extremely disappointed. We can no longer queue together as a team. The queue for the holiday battleground takes at minimum 15 minutes. This can not be working as intended.

We're fine playing alliance premades but do we really need a 15-20+ minute wait just to get queued up against the same team? Devs, I plead to you, try and queue up with a 5-15 man premade as horde and see if you think this is the experience you intend to give your players. Come here and tell me after 6 hours of queuing and only getting a few games against the same alliance team that this is working as intended. I'm pretty sure if you do as I have asked, this queue system will get changed pretty quickly.

Thank you for your valuable input. If this really is thread # 234976 regarding the BG queue system then it is very good to know other players are experiencing the same frustration and gives validation to the need for change.

Why the hell can I only queue one BG at a time? That is not blizzlike at all.

I just solo queued and waited 17 minutes to get matched against an alliance pre-made. Is this working as intended?

15 mins to get a BG pop isn't that far from "blizzlike", depending on the server and side you played on.
You're on horde side, which is the choice of most PvP oriented players. You chose the PvP hero faction. You have to deal with the PvP hero queues.

The queue system does need a change to result in a more blizzlike PvP experience, but the current queue time isn't the real problem.

It sounds to me like the real solution is for Alliance to stop being fuqqbois ganking level 30s in STV and go queue BGs.

Let's face it: no matter what the queue system is, people will still bitch.

Yeah I can already imagine it: "Oh no the queues are too fast I don't have to wait around OG for 20mn every 20mn BG!" "Oh no I got matched against other players that don't really know each other, now the BG is relatively fair!" "Oh no my premade team got matched to another premade team, we'll have to fight!"
