Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

As we know, at TBC launch, the vanilla honor system was revamped and replaced with the one where honor points are used directly as currency to buy PvP gear. But, those who had achieved a PvP rank were able to keep their rank as a selectable player title, which served a purpose of aesthetics/bragging rights only. On Feenix and other TBC private servers, there is never a single player around with a vanilla PvP title, for obvious reasons, and it was always a bit immersion breaking. The rumor is that it will be possible to copy or transfer characters from the Vanilla realm to the planned TBC server.

So, my suggestion is to give copied/transferred characters their PvP rank at the time of transferring as a selectable aesthetic-only title, similar to what was done on retail. Possibly with a restriction that only one player per side can have the R14 title so that there's not an entire server full of High Warlords running around.

Dude, you are a couple of years ahead of time. Don't expect answers or even decisions from any developers yet.

Am I? I've heard (more rumors) that the TBC server is planned to be released about a year from now. If that's their timeline I imagine they are working on it even right now, there's quite a lot of stuff to get moving.

AQ and Naxx arent even open for testing, they are still working on vanilla content, theres still like 5-6 more patches....definatelty going to be longer than a year from now. No reason to start asking things for TBC when we arent even near the end of vanilla.

Personally, I'd be shocked if they could throw together a TBC server before 2020.

Your post shouldn't even be suggestion, since its how it worked. Who got the tittle he was able to keep it, but getting new tittles wasn't possible.

I was just skimming trough forum and your tittle made me assume that you suggest getting ranks in tbc, sorry ^^ Lesson learned.

with naxx being released in summer 2016 I wouldn't expect a TBC servery any time soon after (~2 years from then) unless they find an other well scripted TBC server to work with that doesn't bother sharing the core, especially dungeon scripts as those are very time consuming

seeing as most are profit oriented this will most likely not happen
