Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I'm not sure if this was always the case, since I started playing vanilla WoW around the time Nax was released. but during that time and definitely from then on, EVERY time a friendly NPC was killed by an opposing faction player, an alert was sent in the channel. I very rarely see pings in the world defense channel, it seems entirely unreliable. This takes a lot of fun out of the game because one of my favorite things in vanilla WoW was responding to pings in the world defense channel.

Is this working as intended or a known issue? I haven't seen a post about it.

I actually wondered about this too when I noticed it wasn't spamming my chat box like it did on retail. Not sure why it is so infrequent.

The thing is no one is interested in wpvp, the only wpvp that happens is in the low level zones such as stv from lowbies, other than that all 60s are raiding and if you go to the guild recruitment section from both the PVP and the PVE server you will see nothing but raiding guilds recruiting. The only guild that does any wpvp is The frostwolf clan on horde side.

Which is lead by the same person(Voroshilov) and their invasions are a mess tbh, I been there.

But yeah, if you want to experience the glory days of vanilla where things like that happened, you won't find it, as I said before, no one cares about wpvp or about some city boss being killed everyone just seems to do the same raids once they hit 60 over and over again.

Im in charge of warsong , Odomiah of Defilers and Lunasa of Hammerfall...

A mess ? we raided lakeshire today are at least 10 level 60 alliances showed up , great fight , great action , great fun. This is wpvp i dont know what do you expect

So you don't call getting over 400 dishonorable kills and wiping over 10 times a mess? Heck Voroshilov went from rank 8 to 0 because of all those events. But anyways I'm glad at least some people are doing wpvp.
