Gear progression is what this game is about, and players should not be able to simply buy it with gold or any other currency, only what was intended by blizzard - BoE items.

does dkp count as 'currency'?

either way this is a 0/10 idea imo. Individuals and guilds have found ways to sell BoP gear ever since the game came out, wat do you mean by 'only what was intended by blizzard'

Prohibit idiots from posting on forums, and blizzard was completely fine with guilds selling loot for gold in retail, it's only when non game currency gets into play that blizzard cared.

You have a choice: Don't join the raid.

DKP does not count as currency such as gold, a currency that has nothing to with raiding. Individuals have always found a way to break the law, doesn't mean it's not working. I said what i mean and i will repeat, only BoE items are intended to be sold for gold.

Why do you think it's about me? It's about the game

People who are profiting from selling of course will be against it, and they will be the most loud.

I hope that the admins will use their own judgement. I'm sure a lot of players think like I do, so plz consider it

Stupid idea.

lol

Have you ever looked at a dollar bill? (Or Euro note or colorful string of beads or whatever you use as currency in your area) It should say something like "this note is legal tender for all debts, public and private" in small print somewhere. Meaning, that note can be exchanged for any good or service which is legal to sell, by anyone. Gold is the in-game equivalent of that. Neither Blizzard nor the Nost team has never had a problem with people selling in-game services for in-game currency. It's no different in my view than mages selling food, warlocks selling summons, enchanters charging tips...

Those guilds are offering a service that people are willing to pay for. Good for them. If you don't like it, don't run with them.
