World channel and join/leave spam.

Please make the world channel an official channel and remove the join/leave spam from it. It would be a huge quality-of-life improvement.

I made a little AddOn so players can suppress the display of join / leave messages from selected channels (even if they are not channel moderator).

Installation

• Extract zip archive
• Rename folder from NoJoinLeaveSpam-master to NoJoinLeaveSpam
• Move to your AddOns directory

Usage

• /njls mute <channel name>
• /njls unmute <channel name>
• /njls muted
  for a list of currently muted channels

So just do /njls mute World and you won't see join / leave messages for that channel again.

Yet it have not been implemented yet. Why? Surely it cant require much in way of scripting/programming? I'm guessing a box in need to ticking. Other than this small issue, I gotta say the server is working splendid:)

Devs already stated that there won't be an official world channel, so deal with it and use addons like NoJoinLeaveSpam.
