Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Anyone who plays battlegrounds knows that there is a plague of AFK players on this server. Unlike people who use bots to level/farm or who use exploits and hacks, the AFKers do not receive practically any punishment. Technically it's supposed to be a (minor) ban, but people don't even bother reporting them since tickets take 2 days to get a reponse and by then there's no real evidence available or any way to check if someone was really AFK.

Suggestion: players who receive mulitple tickets (reports) from different players for being AFK should be looked into and if it checks out, instead of punishing them with a meaningless 24h ban, just reset their rank completely. This would greatly discourage being afk and also encourage people to report the afkers because they would know their reports can actually do something.

My only concern is when you enter an Alterac Valley and the horde already has you at the bridge stand still they normally do.

Should players just take the desertion debuff if they feel that the battleground is already lost and want to wait for the next one to start up? A lot of players get annoyed because they're already demoralized that not a single horde objective has been destroyed, and here we are guarding our last graveyard before they obliterate our general.

I suppose AV should be treated a bit more lenient, due to situations like this. But AFK in the smaller bgs is really gamebreaking

its even worse in AV... when half your entire team is sitting around with there thumb up there ass AFKING or herbing mid fight...

I hate afkers ,they have nothing to do in a BG but gain the dirty honor without any punishment.

I have already reported about 5 times to GM ,  and get 2 replies. I can understand that GM is hard to deal with every report.

I just wanna to know what I should do for afkers (except reporting) when GM is busy.
