Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hi there companions of Nostalrius and to the Nostalrius staff! I would like to make a suggestion to provide players a better gaming experiance. As you all know Nostalrius reach about 12-13k players per day within his 2 servers PVE and PVP but unfortunately the PVP serv is the most crowded one yes cause it was the first one introduced to the game but also because it's a pvp one. I am from thoses who thinks that 11k players in a single realm is too much. There's no way one can have fun in such a serv quests uncompletable getting ganked by enemy faction mid 30's and 40's this is kinda the server that i think will be a problem for Nostalrius.

My suggestion is to create a new RPPVP Server and transfer half of the population from Nostalrius PvP there so we can all have on the same base without having to be ''tryharders'' to get to level 60. I know this is a rough task but i think that a team who can maintain such a great server for almost 1 year now can do it as well!

And how are you going to determine who is to be transferred and who isn't? Blindly transferring randomly picked half of the population would never work well.
This matter has been discussed a lot on these forums already, and there are currently two options that could work out:

1) Opening a new server with free one-way transfers for everyone willing. People will undoubtfully reroll there, but it's not guaranteed to grow large enough, and it might ultimately fail to siphon enough people from the main server.

2) Opening a new server for the Chinese players and transfer the entire Chinese playerbase there. It would cause much less harm to the community (since the Chinese players are already segregated from the rest of the playerbase due to the language barrier), it would certainly help reduce the main server pop (the Chinese community on the server is the second biggest after the European community, as acknowledged by Nostalrius devs on AMA a month ago), plus I am farily certain the Chinese players would be pleased to have a server of their own where they won't be prohibited from using their language in general chat channels and such, and will not be exposed to any sort of racism.

That's pretty much it, really. Introducing queues right now would ruin the game for everyone playing Nostalrius, causing much harm to the community. And opening a new server without any sort of transfers to it would just repeat the PvE server fiasco.

I don't want to play on an RP server, those role players are scary :p

I think a new fresh start PvP server with no transfers is the better idea. It will bring in new people to populate the new server, and probably a few thousand from the current PvP server will reroll there too.

Few will reroll if it means abandoning everything accomplished on Nost already. We've already been through this when PvE server opened.

Banned people will reroll there. And possibly low levels on the existing PvP realm with the chance to get a "cool" nickname.

Banned people do not contribute to the insane numbers of Nostalrius' population. The goal here is not just to create a new server, but to populate it with people who are already playing on the main PvP realm in order to reduce its population. Because with 12k on peak, it's simply unplayable.
