I would like to kindly ask that when the servers crash, please post something on the forums/twitter/facebook/homescreen acknowledging that it has crashed and with an estimated fix time, if any, or even a "we're working on it". It is quite frustrating thinking you're the only one not able to connect for half an hour, seeing no activity on said public forums. Thanks!

Except for the part where it just says offline with no additional information. That could mean down for 6 hours or 6 minutes, no way to know.
