Stop shitting up announcement threads with "thank you" reply

When I click on announcement threads of important patch notes updates or other things I have to scroll through about 5 pages of pure "wow thanks devs" - "thank you" -"wow great job" posts with no other substance in the reply before I find a reply with any actual value to read.

It would be nice to click on a thread and find information instead of mindless spam. They don't need your personal thank you replies, all it does is shit up the thread.

wow great job devs!!

keep up the great work!

thank you!

awesome!

i love this shard!

-- keep spam like this out of threads to keep the integrity of the thread intact. Anyone who wants to actually read a reply of someone who has an issue or substantive comment about the topic has to scroll through pages of these types of comments to get to something worth reading.

The staff post these announcements so players who have issues with the announcement or have anything informative to add can respond and have a productive thread. They don't need your personal "thank you devs, great work" to validate and inspire them.

When everything is fine, most people spend their time playing the game.
When they got something to complain about, then they go to the forum.
As a result, there is a disproportional amount of complain posts in the forum compared to the actual level of satisfaction.
(Compare game and forum, respectively ~3000-5000 online VS ~100-150 online.)

Change log announcements almost are the only topics in which people just say "thanks". Let this to the server team :) They will feel encouraged and will be motivated to work for the server. Don't forget it is a 100% unpaid word. Thanks are their main reward.
