Posted: Tue Feb 16, 2016 10:30 pmIf we must have all this rain lets at least get some t-storms going. And then there is a .001% chance while leveling at any given moment while raining you a struck by lightening and die. Spice things up.

weather is client-based. If you don't like the current weather in a zone, relog, it should change.

The weather is determined by a random roll in the background of the client though right? So technically you could be "unlucky" and get the same weather again.

Posted: Thu Feb 18, 2016 12:38 pmWeather is controlled by the server actually. However as Ghostly says it's bugged in most projects. Clients will get a weather start message and frequently not get the weather stop/change server message. Relogging/restarting the client will cause the client to receive the new updated weather.
