So I can only speak form myself here of course, but i've found that some of the things you really take for granted in the later wow versions I miss quite a lot.

I'm not talking about raid content or spells or talents or anything like that.

Im speaking of things like sparkly glowing quest items, or quests on the mini map (thought not the heres a highlighted circle of where you need to go)

Would you guys at any point consider implementing these quality of life changes, that don't affect the difficulty and hard coreness of vanilla?

Anyway thanks for reading and making an awesome server.

Wouldn't this mostly be a client thing?

I think there might be a "sparkle" gameobject that could be spawned on top of quest items and despawned when those items are picked up. As far as the quests on the mini-map go, I bet there's some way to put a gold dot at quest locations too, doing all of this, though, would help destroy the blizz-likeness of the server.. =(

To have a clean Database requires to be blizzlike as much as possible.

If you add custom gameobjects to show you other gameobjects you wanna loot on the minimap is first of all to much work to do and also alot trash in the Database and maybe also in Script or Core.

Dont think they will change anything in this way, it has to be Client based not Server based.

How can you say it doesn't impact difficulty?!

Some quests are "hidden" on purpose, having a massive dot ruins it. Same thing with quests objects, the weeds in tirisfal are a pain to find, except when they're all glowy and fabulous.

Adding features like that, means you don't even have to search anymore when looking for your quests/ quest items :(

There are addons that do stuff like this.
