view distance seriously low

the player/mob view distance is terrible i have all my settings on max getting 400 fps and there is players/mobs fading in and out in front of me, it really hurts the whole feel of an open world when you can barely see whats happening a certain distance in front of you, this is obviously a server side problem/settings can we have it turned up please...

The very high population does not help, but it would be great to have it increased. One more reason to donate for a server upgrade!

It seems view distance has been lowered quite a bit with the latest patch. Please revert this or at least increase it a litte, at the moment everything pops up in front of you which really breaks immersion for me.

They did that to accommodate the high population asfaik. Idk if this is 100% true. Someone confirm??

Why does this apply to instances as well then? It's extremely bad when you're facepulling mobs that are suddenly on top of you and it makes your group wipe.
