Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hi, I would like to discuss with you about the arenas in vanilla

I'm huge fan of wow arenas, since tbc i was playing them , trying out new classes, making new specs, pushing limits of evry class were always my favorite thing.

I recently found that there were arenas on late vanilla, you can even find some footage on youtube like:

I would like to see them in vanilla without any gear rewards or raiting, The main thing it's the fun you get from teamwork and pwnage especialy when your all raids on resets and you'r just waiting in the main city for them to end.

In opinion it would be really awesome to see this kind of thing going , what do you think?

This is not Classic. This was filmed after the 2.0 patch in December 2006, which is when they patched the game up to BC. Even though the game didn't actually come out until next month in January 2007, they patched the game client and files up, meaning that if you were already an active player, you upgraded to the expansion ahead of time. Your client was updated to BC, and you downloaded all of the BC files. You just had to wait for the content to unlock. They are running BC, but can't level past 60 or use the portal to go to Outlands. I didn't even know you could access the arenas at that time.

Classic ends with 1.12. What you're seeing here is 2.0 BC with the magic door past 60 still locked. The only arena we'll get here is in Stranglethorn, which players could actually use if they wanted to. Sometimes back in Classic players did arrange events or fights in there, which is why Blizzard eventually put arenas in the game as a standard PvP feature to get points every week for equipment.

there is also another arena, in dire maul.

I forgot about that one. That one spawns bosses on a timer, too. You'd go in there with a group to try to take the boss down and other players would deliberately wipe you. I wonder if these will be working on Nostalrius. That sort of event was later turned into a quest chain in Nagrand, where you spawn a series of mini bosses to fight. On PvP servers, the other faction would be trying to wipe you.

Yes it is working.

It worked very well but I don't think people will gank over there !
