Edgemaster's Handguards

As some items are changed to older stats before opening of certain instances you should add http://db.vanillagaming.org/?item=14551 to your list.
The had +17 instead of +7 till Patch 1.12.1, I don't know when you are going to debuff them, but even in naxx they were BIS for enhancment shamans (who had them in the raid anyway? :P) and fury warriors.

I remember a shaman playing with these and dagger+shield. Worked pretty nice as offtank. Wouldn't recommend it though :)
But some guilds seemed to have them.
Dual Wield was introduced to shamans in TBC, I know.

Sorry but can you provide a better proof than this?

thottbot says +7 and Allakhazam actually shows the opposite: +7 before patch and then +17 after the patch :?:

The rev. which is edited in the 1.12.1 you might be referring to is
"Most enchantments on items are no longer counted against the maximum limit of effects a player can have on them, so it should be much harder for a player to exceed their max limit on effects"

S: http://www.wowwiki.com/Patch_1.12.1

Edgemaster's is almost an end-game item, so I'd really suggest that people tread carefully.

(Little unheard cry: pls dont base info/knowledge on youtube videos which are centered around extreme facts/videos etc in order to gain subscribers, do your own research)

Skill rating appeared at patch 2.0.1 guys ( 5 december 2006 ).
Like % critical strike was changed to critical skill rating ( or something like that ).
Patch 2.0.1
Items that give bonuses, such as critical strike percentage, have been modified to adhere to a combat rating system.
All current items will provide the exact same benefit from ratings at level 60 as they provided before the ratings system.

+17 weapon skill rating = +7 weapon skill at lvl 60

Source: wowhead Comment by snikmord, and somehow there must be a picture...

Check the difference as well. 17 expertise in TBC, but not the seperated Weapon Skills. Also it only makes sense when you can have 317 weaponskill with this gloves...
