I dont think this requires too much explanation. easily the most tedious and stupid thing in vanilla.

Seriously, no. We'll get people saying crap like "Oh I need this for my other spec" and rolls for things they don't truly need.

people will say "I need this for my other spec" no matter what if they're that kind of person. This dosnt change the fact that it was always a massive pain to flush thousands of gold down the toilet when you get into both PVE and PVP at level 60.

Do i need to repeat myself on every single QQ thread on these forums?
Go watch all nostalrius promo videos on youtube and you will find why your answer is one big NO.
The whole point of this server is to be complete, as close as it can be, original world of warcraft vanilla version copy without modifications, nerfs, xp boosts, free respecs and other things that would make it sound like a fun server.
And my famous quote i leave on these kind of threads: ''Vanilla is not for mediocre casuals and softies like yourself.''

lol, casual softies? I was an endgame raider in vanilla and also achived rank 13 in pvp. that im sure you remember was far from "casual". paying for re specs is and always was stupid. it was always a major complaint from everyone I knew back then, as it should be now.

A true endgame raider and a rank13 grinder wouldn't complain about anything. It's how blizzard has designed it and we are not the ones in power of adjusting the game how it ''should'' be. It is what it is and it's perfect.

hehe in my experience endgame raiders and pvp'ers have always had no shortage of things to complain about, however lets be constructive. I put forth the question, what are the benefits if any of having to pay to re spec?

It's a gold sink. But I think it happened during a time when many of us didn't know. Now a days we know our classes. Some classes are perfectly fine with PVP and PVE with one build. Others have to switch builds. I play a Shaman. Raiding is going to force me to go Resto. For PVP/PVE I'd like to go Elemental / Resto. It's going to get very expensive to change builds.
