Database Please :)

I suggest making a database.

Nothing too serious doesn't have to be intense, but I would love to see a database of the spells, items, and enchants that are in this patch since there's lots of confusion.

This might be hard to do considering we are all on 1.12.1 clients and the staff has tried to add/remove content pre-dating 1.12.1. If you wish to view links to the content pre-TBC, AoWoW has a database setup for just this.

Spells: http://db.vanillagaming.org/?spells
Items: http://db.vanillagaming.org/?items
Enchants: http://db.vanillagaming.org/?spells=11.333

If you want to know what is added and what is currently removed from the content in the server, cross-reference the spells, items, etc with the content that is released.

For example: Dire Maul has not been released yet, so a Mage will not have level 55 water ( http://db.vanillagaming.org/?spell=10143 ) which is acquired from "Arcane Refreshment" ( http://db.vanillagaming.org/?quest=7463 ). The objective of the quest:
Travel to the Warpwood Quarter of Dire Maul and slay the water elemental, Hydrospawn. Return to Lorekeeper Lydros in the Athenaeum with the Hydrospawn Essence.

Well the devs definitely have the items and enchants in their possession since they put them in the game. What I'm saying is there's really no information on patches this out of date so putting that information out there would be nice. Doesn't give anyone an advantage or disadvantage, just clears up the confusion behind what people think are best and all that. I use the VG database all the time, but items and stats are different.

Not all the item stats are different though. You can still manage it as a cross-reference for a majority of the items in there.

But that database isn't helpful because the information is inaccurate.

It's 90% accurate.

I've been working long shifts and forgot to reply, but Garfunkel is pretty accurate. Items may have different stats and some items may have a higher or lower drop chance, but what really matters is the accuracy is above 50%. If you can find an item that doesn't have the stats portrayed on the vanillagaming database, I would love to see the links if you could.
