I'm struggling to find the benefit behind the DRASTIC change in node spawns on the server. The patch note says "Herb and Mining node have been adjusted to balance the server economy ( this is subject to change in the future to preserve an economy as blizzlike as possible )". I understand a slight adjustment, as to not flood the market; however, the rate at which they spawn now seems like a day late bad April fools joke that is still going on. The economy wasn't flooded or lopsided in any way before, you removed a massive influx of gold by banning gold sellers/customers, and the server has been stable enough to farm effectively so I don't really understand why nodes are almost non-existent throughout the day. There should at least be a shorter respawn on nodes so that you can farm your guild consumables. Given that you determined the previous spawn rate was too high, you should already have experienced that the current spawn rate is too low. This should be enough information to determine a decent spawn rate for these so that your above reasoning makes sense.
Devs if you remember how relentless I was about being dazed with an absorb shield...expect a new topic everyday about this until it's addressed and fixed. <3
